#7: $#*! My Dad Says (2010-2011)

In 2010, CBS adapted Justin Halpern’s popular Twitter feed, “$#*! My Dad Says,” into a sitcom titled “$#*! My Dad Says,” starring William Shatner as Ed Goodson, the candid and often politically incorrect father. Despite initial interest, the show faced criticism for its reliance on clichéd humor and lackluster writing.
Metacritic assigned it a score of 28/100, while Rotten Tomatoes reported a 0% approval rating, with the consensus stating it “features childish jokes, abysmal writing, and the half-baked stunt casting of William Shatner.” After one season comprising 18 episodes, CBS canceled the series in May 2011.
