GLAAD’s acting president, Mike Thompson, stated that the series “will reinforce the mistaken belief that transgender women are simply ‘men pretending to be women.’” Despite the network’s defense, comparing the humor to British cross-dressing comedies, the show was canceled after airing only two episodes.
So it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking that they’re just glorified waiters and ushers. What we forget is that they have tons of training about what to do in an emergency, and if the worst should happen while we’re on the plane, they may be the only thing standing between us and death. So if you’re ever in an emergency, just get out of the way and let them do their job.
