#33: Co-Ed Fever (1979)

“Co-Ed Fever” was a sitcom that aired on CBS in 1979, attempting to capitalize on the success of “National Lampoon’s Animal House.” The series was set in Brewster House, a dormitory at the formerly all-female Baxter College, which had recently begun admitting male students.

The ensemble cast included David Keith, Heather Thomas, and Alexa Kenin. Despite the popularity of its inspiration, the show faced low ratings and viewer complaints. CBS canceled “Co-Ed Fever” after airing only one episode, with the remaining five episodes unaired in the U.S. In 2002.
