Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge (China)

Located in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China, the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge opened in 2016 as the world’s longest and highest glass-bottom bridge. The bridge stretches 1,410 feet in length and 20 feet in width, suspended approximately 980 feet above the ground. It connects two mountains in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and it can accommodate about 800 tourists at a time.

The bridge was designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan and is made of more than 120 glass panels. Supported by four massive pillars, the bridge also features three long swings underneath and plans for a bungee jumping facility at a height of 935 feet.
