World’s Most Dangerous Venomous Spider
The Phoneutria spider, also known as the Brazilian Wandering Spider, is an extremely aggressive venomous spider found in Central and South America. It can attack humans even without provocation, and its venom acts on the nervous system, potentially leading to death within 30 minutes if left untreated.
While there were many reported deaths in the past, the mortality rate has decreased significantly due to the development of antivenom. Nevertheless, it remains crucial to be vigilant, especially given its nocturnal habits, which pose a risk of attacks during sleep. In English, it’s called the “Wandering Spider” due to its tendency to roam the streets at night in search of prey.
