John chose to take control of the situation. “I’m going to figure this out,” he promised Emily one morning.
He dove into online research, reading story after story and scanning advice forums in search of clues about Max’s sudden behavior.
Eventually, he decided to follow one common suggestion: bring Max to the vet to rule out medical causes.
“At least it’s a starting point,” he told Emily. She agreed, hoping they might finally get some clarity.
