Crowded Beaches
The image of a peaceful tropical beach can quickly be shattered when you see rows of lounge chairs packed with tourists. When the ship docks at a popular island, hundreds—sometimes thousands—of people head to the same beach you dreamed would be empty. Between the loud music, beach vendors, and shouting kids, it’s far from the quiet escape you expected.
Ironically, this could be the perfect time to head back to the ship and enjoy its amenities with fewer people onboard. With most guests ashore, the pools, hot tubs, and restaurants are quieter than usual. Sometimes, the best beach day is actually on the boat.
