Historically, Presidents Have Used Air Force One to Get Their Hands on Hard-to-Find Beer


It might seem like an unbecoming act for the President of the United States, but it’s a little-known fact that Air Force One has been used by presidents to transport hard-to-get beer. Because Coors beer was only available in western states, rather than having it shipped to Washington, they’d have AFO take flight, load the precious beer on board, and ensure a fresh supply.

Apparently, they needed to fly out there for work reasons anyway, allegedly, though that is yet to be confirmed. Maybe they were using taxpayer money to get beer!
