Despite the twins landing a significant number of modeling gigs, Jaqi wants people to understand that this doesn’t equate to instant wealth for the family. In reality, maintaining a presence in the modeling industry comes with numerous expenses—professional headshots, gas for travel, meals on the go, wardrobe requirements, and various other costs. These hidden investments often go unnoticed by outsiders but are critical to keeping the girls active in the business.
Jaqi addresses this misconception in her blog, writing, “But I guess if you really put it all into perspective, the money we as parents put out now… will allow them to make their own money they can use towards college or a car or a house in the future.” It’s a long-term investment in the girls’ futures, one that the family is willing to make, not for immediate gain, but for the life experience and opportunities it affords them.
